Due to the popularity of the course it will not be possible to attend this class on a drop-in basis. Well, I thought I was going to post several comments during my time at Windfire Yoga Retreat this summer, but I kept hearing (and feeling the wisdom of) the same message over and over again. That message was simply to feel more, as posted below. To give one’s attention to being present to the changing sensations in one’s body gives you direct access to the inherent wisdom of your body and mind, thereby helping to reveal the eight limbs (Asta Anga) described by Patnjali in the Yoga Sutras (more of this later!).
I thought I would post a few snippets from my time spent at Windfire this summer. So here is number one:
There is no such thing as an advanced Yoga posture. To be advanced is to FEEL MORE.
GODFREY DEVEREUX
Yoga is unity, is wholeness, is indivisibility, is inextricability, is irreplacabilty, is imperfectability just as you are. GODFREY DEVEREUX
