I thought I would post a few snippets from my time spent at Windfire this summer. So here is number one:

A Beginners Course will start on Monday 8th September at Newcastle Buddhist Centre. Classes take place 7.45-8.45 and run over a course of six weeks. Class dates are: 8th, 15th 22nd &29th September and 6th and 13th October. The course will cost £42 (or £30 NUS). Precise instruction and vinyasa flow intelligently reveal the subtle depths of Yoga as efficiently as possible. Email Kim to book a place. The next open level class will be at Newcastle Buddhist Centre on 24th July 5.45-7.15pm. There will also be a seven week run of Dynamic Yoga classes at Dance City on Mondays between 21st July and 1st September. Class time is 6.30-8pm and classes will be an open level. They will be taught by Kim, Mac and Jana, all of whom have studied with Godfrey Devereux and are accredited to teach the Dynamic Yoga Method. New autumn timetable coming soon.

Kim will be visiting Yoga Retreat Centres in Portugal and France so there will only be occasional drop-in classes throughout the summer. Drop-in classes at Newcastle Buddhist Centre will continue on the following dates: Monday 30th June, Monday 7th July, Thursday 24th July. Monday classes are 6-7.30 pm , Thursdays 5.45-7.15 pm. See Class Timetable for more details and any updates, including start dates of new Beginners Courses. New drop-in dates will be added when confirmed. A new full timetable will begin in September. There will be two Beginners Workshops at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Campus (Friday 20th June 3.30-5.30pm and Saturday 21st June 3.30-5.30). Contact Kim for more details or to book a place.
Hello again to everyone I met at the Green Festival today. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves in the sun and that you will join us for yoga soon. Welcome to Unwind Yoga! There are a couple of drop-in classes available over the summer (for dates and venues Click Here). A brand new timetable will begin in September. If you joined my mailing list then you will receive news of the new classes as soon as it’s available. Join up by sending an email from the Contact Page. From September there will be Lunchtime Classes in the City Centre, a new Beginners Course and also Perinatal Yoga courses alongside courses and drop-in classes for various levels. You will also be able to find information about Yoga workshops in Newcastle and Northumberland. Venues will include Newcastle Buddhist Centre, The Pilates Studio, and Dance City. Upside down on the High Level Bridge
Please note, there will be no yoga classes in Newcastle or Morpeth between Tuesday 10th and Sunday 15th June as Kim will be on a yoga training course in London. Classes resume on Monday 16th as normal.
So has anyone worked out why I embedded the Iyengar 1938 clip on 25th April? Tip: it’s not to scare you all with far out bendiness.
